The DAF Club of America currently has 100 members throughout North America. To join, one does not need to own a DAF, but to have an interest in DAF cars and/or the VARIOMATIC/AUTOMATIC (CVT) transmission.
We are a very informal organization of DAF car owners and others who are seriously interested in the DAF and their unique features.
The club holds no formal meetings, but does serve as an exchange of information, sources of parts and general news of matters pertaining to the DAF.
The club archives, which is located at the DAF Museum-USA in Mt. Tabor, VT., contains historical records of DAF cars in America including lists of original dealers, serial numbers, and descriptions of every DAF car imported into the U.S.A. The archives also contains Parts/Service Manuals for all models and a library of publications from the DAF Club-Nederland as well as the DAF Owners Club in England and a very extensive collection of Sales brochures.
From time to time, a newsletter may be issued. Each new member will receive the club handbook (when available), which was compiled originally by Bill Radtke. This handbook details background history of the DAF car along with photos of the various models.
The DAF Club of America participates with other car clubs in various events such as shows, local tours and picnics. We strive to get as many DAF cars to participate as possible during the posted events. Keep watching the site for monthly updates on upcoming events we will try to attend.
There is currently a one-time membership fee of $15.00 to defray the cost of the handbook and mailing. To join, please print off the membership application, fill it out, and include a check, cash or money order to the Director’s address listed below.
